A campaign to raise
awareness of the benefits of chimney automation.
Since July 2006, Matanle PR has been managing
on behalf of Exhausto Ltd a PR campaign to increase public awareness
and knowledge in
both the heating trade and industry of the benefits of chimney
automation. In the domestic context, an Exhausto chimney fan system
guarantees an effective chimney draught, ensuring the smoke and
dust from open fires, and any unwanted emissions from gas fires,
go safely up the chimney rather than into the home.
In industry, the Exhausto chimney automation system improves
the efficiency of multi-boiler installations by as much as 30%,
cuts fuel costs and makes boiler houses safer and cheaper to
build or refurbish.
The PR campaign has generated articles in a wide range of consumer
and trade magazines, plus many small editorials which have resulted
in a significant number of sales enquiries.
Alongside the product campaign, Matanle PR has run a campaign
to raise awareness of the dangers of carbon monoxide and of the
ways in which households can be protected against it.
